GorillaBots 5485

The GorillaBots are an FTC team in the Excelsior region based in Corning, NY. For our 2022 season, Power Play, we are focusing on expanding the community's knowledge of STEM and encouraging young learners to engage in exciting opportunities in different fields of science. Listen to our Handbook to FIRST podcast, which covers various aspects of the FTC game for both new teams and curious listeners.

We have advanced to worlds 3 times, 2016 Velocity Vortex, 2018 Rover Ruckus, and 2019 Skystone. Our peak performance was in 2018 when we were 2nd pick 3rd alliance in the Edison Division at Detroit. We've earned our way into the FTC Stats Hall of Fame of the top 200 teams in the world. Currently in 2022 Power Play, we are ranked #1 in New York State with a non-penalty OPR of 125.3. Our next competition is the MVCC Excelsior Regional Competition on March 5.
