Glut Crow

Vietnamese folklore has a story like this:
Once upon a time, crows and peacocks both had boring, ash-grey feathers.
They teamed up to steal a painter’s colors to glow up their plumage. The crow painted the peacock beautifully and meticulously, making its feathers super colorful.
Then it was the peacock's turn. Halfway through, the crow's squad called him over for a meal.
Driven by hunger and impatience, the crow urged the peacock to just dump the paint on him. So, the peacock straight up dumped the entire jar of black paint onto the crow's head.
And that's how we got the artist crow who is a total foodie, has terrible luck, and loves wearing black.
As for that damn peacock, what a jerk—out of all the colors, it just had to choose black.
