Josephine Ingoglia

Welcome to Sicily — beyond the postcards. 🇮🇹

I’m Josephine, a Sicily-based travel designer, local host, olive oil sommelier, and Italian-American who left New York to build a life on the island my family once left behind.

Here, I share the Sicily I actually live: tiny villages, incredible food, local traditions, hidden places, honest travel advice, life on our Sicilian olive farm, and the people and stories you won’t find in a guidebook.

Through my travel company, Isola Marea, I design personalized Sicily journeys for travelers who want to go deeper — from custom itineraries and heritage travel to local experiences and personally hosted trips.

Whether you’re planning Sicily, reconnecting with your roots, dreaming of life here, or simply feel the pull of this island, you’re in the right place.
