Gimped Hero Games

Gimped Hero Games is a one-person indie studio, founded in December 2023, building games the slow, honest way: no publishers, no shortcuts, and no pretending things are finished before they are.

I'm Seth, also known as Solmas. I'm a veteran, a developer and a lifelong gamer, and I'm working toward making games full-time on my own terms. This channel is the open dev log. You'll see work in progress, experiments that don't pan out, and the reasoning behind every design decision.

What I believe in:

Systems over scripts, so worlds feel alive because their rules are sound.
Honest development: I show what works, what doesn't and what's still just an idea.
Playtesters and community shape the games, and their feedback matters.
Independence is something you build, so I fund the studio's work myself and in the open.
Current project: ManaBat, an isometric action RPG with a growing NPC behavior system.
