Gentle Tribute

Personal eulogies and obituaries, written from your memories.

When someone you love dies and you are asked to speak, the right words can feel out of reach. At Gentle Tribute you answer a few gentle questions about the person: their stories, their habits, the small things only family knows. From your answers comes a eulogy of 3 to 5 minutes that sounds like them, as a PDF and an editable Word file, with one revision and every line reviewed by hand.

Obituaries are written the same way, with a full version for a funeral website and a short version for the newspaper.

These short videos show what a personal tribute can hold: for a mom or dad, a grandparent, a partner, a brother or sister, a friend, a beloved pet, or a celebration of life.
