GATHA

GATHA – Global Alliance for Traditional Healers Advancement

is a national platform dedicated to strengthening India’s rich legacy of traditional healing knowledge, preserved across generations through communities, practitioners, oral traditions, manuscripts, and lived experience.
GATHA focuses on documentation, preservation, protection, scientific research and validation, collaboration, and responsible advancement of traditional healing knowledge.

We connect traditional healers and knowledge holders with researchers, universities, AYUSH experts, IPR and legal experts, biodiversity and ABS experts, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

Our aim is to ensure India’s traditional healing heritage is preserved with integrity, protected appropriately, studied responsibly, recognized meaningfully, and advanced for future generations.
