Gary Brown Fishing

I started writing a monthly column on my local area in 1996 for New South Wales Fishing Monthly (28 years and 2 months) and since then have contributed to a variety of national fishing and boating magazines, plus a variety of national and internal web sites. Such as tackle Tactics, Platypus, Zman, Weekend Notes, Boating Accessories Australia and Alvey Australia.

During this time, I have also taken the time to write and photograph 6 fishing books. Fishing guide to Sydney and the Hawkesbury River, Rock and Beach Fishing, Australia’s Favourite Fish Species, Fishing Guide to Southern Sydney, 60 Land Based fishing spots in Sydney Harbour and 60 Land Based fishing spots in Southern Sydney.

I now have started in 2024 writing feature articles for the Fish and Boat magazine.
