Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club

In August of 1991, a group of former stock car racers, car owners and enthusiasts gathered together. They shared the goal of keeping the spirit of the early days of stock car racing alive, especially the rich history of the sport here in New Jersey. From that initial gathering, the club began to grow.  Officers were elected, the necessary legalities were accomplished, and the club became a non-profit organization.  The club now consists of approximately 130 members from 13 states! 
The club is dedicated to the preservation of stock car racing history in New Jersey.  In addition to race car displays, the club also honors past competitors, officials and others associated with the sport at an annual banquet.  These individuals are nominated by the membership for “Hall of Fame” and “Pioneer” Awards.
