Know God, Understand Jesus and Holy Spirit's Voice

Hos 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. 

This channel will focus on Biblical teaching for the purpose of discipleship.  You can't be a good disciple without understanding the model.  Jesus told the disciples to teach all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19).  Knowing God is more than saying that one believes.  Even the demons believe and they tremble (James 2:19).  I like to connect the Old Testament to the New as much as possible.  That approach clarifies the big picture.  From that place, life applications are easier to make.

Having said all that, enough cannot be said about God's voice.  Jesus told us that it was better for him to go away so he could send the Spirit.  Even in Revelation, Jesus reminded believers to hear what the Spirit was saying (Rev 2).
