Frozen Fingers |

I film what’s already there.

**“I’m a Gōshū local living in Shiga,
but whenever I catch the scent of snow in the air,
I just can’t stay still.

Even in the off-season, even in the middle of summer,
a part of my mind is always tracing a line across the snow.

With the wind from Lake Biwa
and the quiet of the northern shores at my back,
I drift toward places with snow… and places without it.

Reading the swell of the snow like a wave,
letting the flow of nature carry me.
I simply capture that freedom as it is.”**
