Front letters

Front Letters — true stories of the Second World War, one life at a time.

Every video is a letter from the past: the life of one person who shaped, served or survived WW2 — commanders and clerks, SS officers and Gestapo chiefs, spies, soldiers, resistance fighters and the men who finally faced justice. Where did they come from, what did they decide, and how did their story end? Each documentary follows one life through archive photographs, animated maps, documents and dates.
