from the van

Hello friends! It's Marty, Colette & our dog Spin!

We have been full-time van lifers since September 2018. We started our journey in a DIY converted Mercedes Metris and in January 2020 we bought a 136' wheelbase Dodge Promaster that we built out in 5 weeks. We are not pro van builders! But we are determined, creative and Marty is a graduate from YouTube University. We are based out of San Diego county but we travel as much as we can. Marty is a comedian and an attorney, Colette is a theatre artist, and Spin is a party animal. We love hiking, craft beer, art and a good laugh.

From the Van podcast is a podcast from our van where we interview people who have relationships with residential vehicles. From the Van is available on several podcast platforms and on our YouTube channel so you can hang in the van with us!

From the van is also a vlog about our van and our day to day life. Follow along with us and hopefully have a good laugh! Cheers
