護瞳行動是國際眼科發展組織，於1992年由國際著名的眼科醫生霍洛教授(Prof. Fred Hollows)在澳洲成立。我們深信失明並非必然，每十個失明個案中，有九個是可以避免的。我們在全球25個國家，透過支援眼科手術與治療、培訓醫護人員和提供所需設備等，改善基層眼科服務 ，長遠提升社區的眼科服務水平，讓病人「瞳」燃光明，重過新生。

The Fred Hollows Foundation is an international development organisation, established by renowned ophthalmologist Professor Fred Hollows in 1992, aiming to end avoidable blindness. Nine out of 10 people who are blind or vision impaired don’t have to be. Restoring sight can change lives. The Foundation trains local doctors and health workers, builds and upgrades facilities, and provides equipment in order to achieve long-term sustainable eye health care.
