I am a Professor of Liturgical Studies at St. Athanasius & St. Cyril Coptic Theological School in California (USA) and a priest in the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles, Southern California, and Hawaii. After completing doctoral studies at the University of Vienna, I held prestigious postdoctoral awards at Yale Institute of Sacred Music and the University of Regensburg. I am also an author of several books and numerous articles on Eastern liturgical history.
