Francheska Perepletchikova, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry, UMass Medical School, is a world renowned therapist, researcher, trainer, and the developer of Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C). She specializes in treating children with severe emotional/behavioral dysregulation, suicidality, non-suicidal self-injury, verbal/physical aggression, treatment-resistant depression, social problems, and anxiety disorders. As a faculty at the Yale University and Weill Cornell Medicine, she developed DBT-C and conducted research to validate her model.
