Football.Dataportraits

Every football match, rebuilt from its own data.

Each short is one game. Every pass, every shot and its xG, drawn as a terrain that rises where a side is on top and floods when someone scores. The two colours are the kits the sides actually wore that day. The crowd is real recordings, cut to the match's own rhythm.

No commentary, no highlights, no footage. The whole thing is the data.

Data: FotMob and WhoScored. Crowd audio: CC0 recordings from Freesound. Player photographs: Wikimedia Commons, credited per image.
