Focus Photons Frugally

This channel is all about turning photons into photographs as frugally as possible. We all know that photography can be prohibitively expensive. It doesn’t have to be! The aim of this channel is to show that spending time mastering your equipment and developing skills and techniques is far more important than spending your way to results. If you can’t get good results with a budget camera you are unlikely to get good results with an even more expensive and complex camera.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t invest in good quality kit though, after all there is no point in throwing money away sometimes you just have to buy the best. As they say buy cheap buy twice, and that is particularly relevant with lenses, especially wide angle Astro lenses.

This channel is not about being stingy and tight, it’s about buying wisely.
