Abby Maleport is a certified lymphedema therapist who specializes in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) for a variety of clientele. The lymphatic system has 3 main responsibilities that are the subject of my technique and business.  1. Fluid regulation. MLD is the gold standard treatment for edema/swelling reduction 2. Waste transport. The lymphatic system is the only system in our body that rids of body of cellular waste, toxins, bacteria, pathogens, cancer cells, and viruses. These particles are sent to the lymph nodes to destroy and filter debris. 3. Our immune system.  The lymphatic system is OUR immune system. It is responsible for circulating the lymphocytes and WBCs to fight off bacteria, cancer cells and viruses.  Join me as I educate my community in a wide variety of topics.
