International Competition Flautiada

The International Flute Competition Flautiada is a well-established flute competition in the European music area. As one of the few competitions for this instrument, it enjoys great popularity and interest not only from young musicians but also from the professional public from all over Europe.The competition has been held at biennial intervals since 2009, but the seventh edition was held in June 2022 in Banská Bystrica after a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
