Finding Hope Along The Journey 

Prior to Chris' accident in 2020, Valerie's career was in physical therapy where she worked as a physical therapist assistant (PTA). She left the profession temporarily to become a fulltime caregiver to Chris. She has shared videos on the channel highlighting informative details about life as a family caregiver for her husband and also as an accessible wheelchair transportion driver. Videos may highlight issues SCI patients may have, challenges they overcome, and offers a caregiver perspective to managing it all. After two years of surviving, Chris and Valerie decided it was time to resume living life at their fullest potential. Whether it be cruising the ocean, camping in the woods, or learning to scuba dive, Chris and Valerie enjoy sharing these journeys with the community so that more wheelchair users may consider partaking in adventure!.
