This whole adventure started with an old—over 25-year-old—Chevrolet Express 1500 that I wanted to turn into a proper travel van. The build is still a work in progress, but the van already hits the road every summer.

These days you’ll find all kinds of stuff here: maintenance, repairs, small fixes, and whatever projects happen to be on the bench. And now there’s a brand‑new project too: turning a Pappa Tunturi into an electric moped by fitting an electric motor into the original engine block.

If you enjoy van builds, tinkering, tools, and slightly questionable DIY decisions, you’re in the right place.
