FiggyEd (Figgy Ed)

Spreading the love of growing figs gives me real joy! I honestly think we can make the world a better place.

Eddie here: moved from Lebanon to Brooklyn when I was 3. At 34, my wife and I moved to Maine for 5 yrs and had two daughters. Then Manhattan again then Dallas since. I am experimenting and learning about growing figs indoors. It can be done easily with the right prep. I have an indoor Angelito tree since March 2024. It has never been outdoors. It has given me 100s of yummy figs, but there is still a ton to learn when it comes to being 100% indoors.

I now have 3 locations w/dozens of trees right in my house. I have proven you can get complex/sweet figs indoors. I've had over 30 brix (very sweet) using only 150w for 12hrs for about 20 DLI paying ~$0.25 in electric/day. But I need to learn so much more - you can learn with me. I am experimenting a ton. My goal is to help people with limited outdoors space see how easy it is to grow figs indoors. Get more people to garden more.
