Jess | The Fibroid Files

Talking about the fibroid, myomectomy, and women’s health info we should’ve learned sooner.

I’m Jess, and I bring a background in public health and healthcare quality improvement to conversations about fibroid research, treatment options, surgical recovery, and the patient experience.

I’m also a fibroid patient. I had a robotic myomectomy in 2026 and realized how much about fibroids and navigating healthcare isn’t explained until you go through it yourself.

So, that’s what we’re doing here. Looking at the clinical research. Breaking down treatment options (from myomectomy to UFE). Asking tough questions. Navigating the healthcare system. Sharing real recovery experiences. And helping you make informed decisions about your health.
