I am Fatih Alper, a physician specializing in radiology with 28 years of clinical and academic experience. My expertise spans thoracic, abdominal, and breast radiology. Over the past decade, my team and I have developed a novel treatment algorithm for idiopathic granulomatous mastitis—a condition that has historically posed diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
To date, six peer-reviewed articles on this subject have been published in reputable journals, contributing significantly to the literature. We have recently introduced a combined treatment approach, and three additional manuscripts are currently under review. My research on idiopathic granulomatous mastitis alone has received 204 citations on Google Scholar. Collectively, my publications have garnered a total of 4,325 citations, reflecting the broader impact of my work in the field.
