Fairweather IT (FIT) is an applied science and technology company out of Bozeman, MT. We bring specialized data collection and equipment design to the table for solving data collection and environmental monitoring to a variety of industries in hazardous environments. This channel showcases a variety of technological solutions that have been designed in-house here at Fairweather IT to solve some of the most difficult problems encountered when working with unique demands and challenging situations.

Fit specializes in the use and design of both Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) to access otherwise inaccessible locations due to environmental and/or safety concerns. We have extensive experience with UAVs for water sampling from remote locations as well as mapping tasks including Optical, Photogrammetry, Multispectral, and Thermal imaging. Fit also uses USVs for tasks ranging from waterfowl hazing in mine pits to deep water hydrographic surveys.
