EuProGigant - European Production Giganet

EuProGigant is a binational research project to demonstrate and scale a multi-location infrastructure and data ecosystem in the European manufacturing industry. The project goal is to increase flexibility and efficiency of production in manufacturing through the use of production-relevant data. The project will clarify the technological and economical benefits of the open, European cloud solution Gaia-X. The self-organisation of a system through a joint production data network increases value creation and sustainability in production, and will advance sovereignty and resiliency of European systems in the face of dangers caused by crisis situations and loss of production.

EuProGigant stands for "European Production Giganet for calamity-avoiding self-orchestration of value creation and learning ecosytems". It is carried out by an Austrian-German project consortium.
