Etched Films

Strange true stories from history, carved out of the dark. Animated history documentaries on forgotten manias, hoaxes and disasters.

The dancing plague of 1518, when the streets of Strasbourg filled with people who could not stop dancing. The Great Molasses Flood in Boston. The Tromelin castaways, fifteen years on a sand island. The Emu War, lost to birds. Not kings and battles: the weird, true days that really happened.

Every claim stands on two independent sources, listed under each film.

Subscribe for the strange days history forgot.
