ErgoActive Ergothioneine

ErgoActive® is a clinically supported, branded form of L-ergothioneine that helps support healthy aging and cognitive function as we age.

Ergothioneine is often called a “longevity vitamin” because research shows it plays a unique role in protecting our cells, mitochondria, and DNA from oxidative stress and age-related damage. Unlike other antioxidants, ergothioneine is actively transported into cells via a dedicated transporter (OCTN1/ETT) and retained in the body, making it both highly bioavailable and long-lasting.

At Blue California, we developed ErgoActive® to be the first FDA-GRAS, bio-based, clinically studied form of ergothioneine available to formulators and brands worldwide to formulate in their dietary supplements, functional food and beverages.
