I take dance lessons to learn how to improv to traditional Arab music. Part of the process involves monthly performances in front of a live audience. Sometimes I know the music. Sometimes I don't. Sometimes it's a different version of the same song I've been working on (hence the repeats of certain songs). Sometimes the music is Arab, and sometimes it's Western (rock, pop, jazz, etc.). Sometimes I get to pick the song, and sometimes I don't. Sometimes the music is improvised, but ALL of the dancing is improvised. It's all a part of the process of learning.

All of my videos are for me to keep track of my progress with my instructor, and for friends and family to follow along, too. Sure, some of the performances are going to be great, and some might look a little strange. It's all a part of the process.

I'm not trying to make a name for myself, I'm just having fun.
