El Tomboy

I buy expensive things and tell you whether they were worth it.

This channel is about owning fewer, better things. The coat you'll still have in twenty years, the appliance that outlives its warranty, the sweater that gets better instead of worse. Some of it is new and costs too much. Some of it is secondhand and costs almost nothing. Most of it is made from plants or animals, because that's usually what lasts.

I'll tell you what's worth the money and what's an expensive mistake. I've made plenty of the second kind, on camera.

What's here:
-Worth it or not: the expensive one against the cheap one, tested properly
-Buy it for life: what to own once and never replace
-How to wash, store, mend and keep what you already have
-Vintage: ancient clothes that outlast anything new
-Making things myself, because I can
-Montana, mostly

This is really a manual for my kids, who did not ask for one.
