This channel is intended to produce original content to promote positive behavioral, emotional, and mental health and wellness practices. My company's (Actualizing Your Best Self) mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families through deepening their acquisition of several key healthy psychological skills and principles, which will improve our communities as they consistently implement them. The key areas are found in well established understandings in clinical, developmental, and social psychology. The key skills and principles are developed from evidence based treatments consistent with Acceptance & Commitment, Attachment-based, Trauma-focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Dialectical-Behavioral theory. Focus is on Mindfulness Practices, Building Distress Tolerance Skills, Healing Attachment Wounds, Correcting the Core Beliefs often Damaged in Childhood (both Big T and little t Trauma), and Embracing the Power in Relationship (with yourself and others).
