Elfreth's Alley Museum

The Elfreth's Alley Museum chronicles three centuries of history on one small residential street! Houses which date from the 18th and early 19th centuries are still homes today, preserving not only the look but also the function of this piece of Philadelphia history. Two houses form the museum, one furnished as the it may have been when two single women occupied it in the 18th century, the other offering space for rotating temporary exhibits.
