Eléonor Music

The official YouTube channel of Belgian band Eléonor.

Listening to Eléonor makes you lose yourself in a sense of timelessness. Eléonor’s voice is that of Elly Aerden. She searched ancient Latin texts about love and happiness, pride and melancholy and put them to music, bringing them to life again in an harmonious but gentle mix of fado, pop, chanson and jazz. Latin is not a dead language; it is exotic and very much alive. It’s as if the words were written just now! Eléonor seeps into your head and soothes your pains. She makes you forget about the raging and the rain. And on a sunny day she takes you with her, swaying to southern places where temptation and passion rule the night. Enjoy!
