Elements Chinese Orchestra天地人和民族乐团

天地人和民族乐团位于马来西亚的首都吉隆坡，在2011年成立。

四位不同的指导老师――梁汉奎、林子维、王惠真和陈捷因期盼有朝一日能同台演出，却因常年奔波于各自的教学与演出而未能圆梦。为了实现愿望，四位老师们协议举办一场小型演奏会，并由梁汉奎为各位量身定做一套曲目――《天》、《地》、《人》、《和》。在第一场演奏会结束后，在黄鸿昌老师的鼓励下，大家决定延续本来只是个临时性的组合，并加以吸纳更多年轻本地乐手以传承及发扬中华音乐，“天地人和民族乐团”也就此得名。

Located in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and founded in 2011, the direct translation of the orchestra’s Chinese name is “Sky, Earth, Human, and Harmony”, collectively known as the elements in English. It was established by 4 music instructors – Liang Han Kuei, Lim Chee Wei, Wong Wai Jan, and Tan Jie, who had longed to perform together. The group expanded to include young and upcoming musicians to encourage and promote Traditional Chinese Music. Now, we are known as the Elements Chinese Orchestra.
