EKILA

My production lives in the contrast between human and machine.
I’m not chasing the perfect beat; I’m chasing the one that makes you feel something.
I like to blend the ancestry of Brazilian rhythms with the grit of breakbeat and the dynamic weight of electronic music.
As an artistic director, my role is to bring out the best in every artist.
I bring together songwriters and vocalists to create something that honors the music above all else—ignoring algorithms and focusing on identity.
While the market calculates every move, I choose to work on the edge of the synthetic and the organic.
Where the world hears noise, I find structure and frequency.
It’s fluid sound: electronic music with a soul, and organic sounds pointing toward the future.
