EGOMIO CULTURAL CENTRE (Egomio Cultural Centre)

Egomio cultural centre is a unique performing arts centre situated in the industrial area of Egkomi, nicosia. The centre has a dance school offering different dance classes for children from 3 years old , classical ballet, contemporary dance , GYROKINESIS(R) method of excercise classes for adults,stretching and strenthening and other well being classes for all ages. The centre has a black box theatre of 165 seats, an exhibitional are , a library, a small coffee shop and artists residency rooms. The centre was created in 2013 by choreographer,teacher,dancer Elena Christodoulidou. It is the home of Amfidromo Chorotheatro dance company (Elena Christodoulidou) , the home of Dance Lab Nicosia and hosts Dance waves festival, Moving Images international videodance festival and 14ANΩ contemporary dance youth company. The centre hosts many rehearsals, workshops and performances of dance, theatre , music.
