Droplet Dynamics reseach group

The Droplet Dynamics Group (DDG), established in 2016 at International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering/Technical University of Catalonia (CIMNE/UPC), represents a dedicated endeavor to advance research in the realm of two-phase flow modeling, specifically geared towards industrial applications. Throughout our journey, we have consistently strived to pioneer and enhance state-of-the-art numerical models, meticulously tailored to tackle the intricate complexities inherent in fluid-fluid systems. At the core of our pursuits lies an unwavering dedication to adopting a holistic approach, where the synergy between numerical simulations and experimental methodologies assumes paramount importance. This integrative strategy empowers us to unlock a deeper understanding of the phenomena at play, ensuring that our findings and solutions align closely with real-world scenarios and needs.
