Dr. Lucky Dad - Research and Engineer the Dad Life

I'm Jimmy. I defended my PhD in Human-Centered Computing at the University of Florida in October 2026. I also have a four-year-old named Lucky, a wife whose beauty still outranks her temper, and my mom, who lives with us full-time.

I keep trying to use what I study on what happens at home. It works less often than you'd think. My daughter won't eat mushrooms unless they have five times the normal salt, and I've explained this to my mom maybe forty times. No framework has fixed that one yet.

So the videos here are short. Each one takes a piece of advice everyone repeats, like "just ask for help," "let kids fall," or "communicate clearly," checks it against what actually happened in our house, and keeps whatever still holds up.

No 5am routine. My mornings belong to a preschooler.

None of this compiles without my wife. I'm usually the bug.
That's what she said.

New videos when I can, usually after bedtime.
