Welcome to Issues in Sociology with Dr. Sherry.  I'm Dr. Sherry Leonard-Foots.  I'm an adjunct professor of sociology at SNHU, Southern New Hampshire University. I teach Perspectives in the Social Sciences and Applied Social Science.  This channel is about issues in and related to sociology such as race, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexuality, parenting, various types of families such as single-parents, stay-at-home dads, and more. Ultimately, I want to bring people together through better understanding and knowledge.  This channel is a hate-free zone!! It only through creating meaningful dialogues that we can grow in our understanding and appreciation of one another, and create the world we want to live in.
