Since 1922, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center has continued to evolve in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the changing needs of Newport County residents who seek nutritional, educational and social supports to improve their quality of life. 

Programs include Food Pantry, Daily Breakfast, Food 2 Friends delivery to the hungry and homebound, Preschool, After School, Summer Camp, Senior Health Insurance counseling & Lunch and Learn, nutrition counseling and more. Serving Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Jamestown, Tiverton and Little Compton, RI.
