Dr. Dana Wang | Family Relationships & Psychology

Changing how families talk, feel, and love.

I’m Dr. Dana Wang, a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and an expert on alexithymia.

Why do our parents criticize us when they mean to show concern? Why do family conversations turn into arguments? And why is it sometimes hardest to feel loved by the people who love us most?

On this channel, we explore the psychology behind family relationships, generational differences, emotional communication, and the unspoken feelings that shape how we connect.

Through clinical insights, real-life examples, and practical communication tools, I’ll help you understand your parents, recognize patterns passed down through generations, and discover new ways to heal and connect.

Because changing a relationship begins with changing a conversation.
