I’m Dr. Azi Jankovic; educator, author of Mental Health Reclaimed, and advocate with 28 years of lived experience as an ex-patient. 

After being diagnosed with SAD, depression, and then bipolar disorder as a teen and navigating decades in an outdated system, 

I found a new and better path: one rooted in truth, empowerment, and whole-person healing.

I believe it's time for more:

✔️ Honesty and transparency in mental health care

✔️ Root-cause approaches - stop treating symptoms, start addressing causes with real cures

✔️ Trauma-informed tools - viewing a human being by way of their needs, not their deficits while understanding that Post-Traumatic Growth is possible for all

✔️ Stories of healing and hope - you are not alone! There is no shame in struggling; and together, we can share the knowledge necessary to grow and heal.
