Doug & Mary Hit the Road

Doug and Mary are a retired couple from Western Montana that spend as much time as possible in their converted Toyota Sienna camper.  

Stealth camping, wild camping, informal camping and exploring new back-road and off-road locations is our goal, and seeking out little-known microbreweries is always a reward.  We love the engineering wonder of bridges, and we also look for local hiking, local bakeries, and exploring the older sections of small towns.

We have been vegetarian for 30 years and practice a philosophy of doing our best to leave the planet better than we found it.

When not exploring new places, we do our best to grow a huge garden in the unforgiving climate of the Rocky Mountains, hike locally, shovel a lot of snow, lend a hand to neighbors, and pick up litter along a section of the highway.
