Donald Link

Join James Beard Foundation award-winning chef Donald Link on his journey across the country, where he examines the deep connection between fresh, local ingredients & the people connected to the land and waters that produce them. Chef Link visits with local ranchers, farmers & fishers, & artisan bread makers, cheesemakers & winemakers, talking about each ingredient’s importance & how to respect it. Then, taking those ingredients, he shares cooking techniques and recipes for the home cook.

Chef Link’s restaurants include Herbsaint Restaurant & Bar, Cochon Restaurant, Cochon Butcher, Calcasieu, Pêche--named Best New Restaurant in America by the James Beard Foundation, La Boulangerie, & Gianna. Chef Link's flagship restaurant Herbsaint earned him a James Beard award in 2007 for Best Chef South and the James Beard Foundation also honored Link's first cookbook, Real Cajun: Rustic Home Cooking from Donald Link's Louisiana (Clarkson Potter), with their top award for Best American Cookbook.
