DOLLKILLER Films

My name is Cécile Delepière.
I was born in the heart of Provence in 1976.
As a child, I loved nothing more than to dance bare feet and to run into the wild.
A bit of a loner. Always a dreamer. A storyteller.

In every art form, in front or behind the camera,
My common thread is my love for storytelling.
My love for delving into the human’s emotions.
In fact, my favorite question is : “how do you feel?”

In all I create, my intuition and imagination are my guides.
As a film-maker, I let my perceptions and feelings run through me.
It is from the heart of my soul that I wish to tell stories.
Stories that move me and others.

The way I capture on film is the way I sense the world.
Where I lay my eyes, my camera follows the movement and its vibration.
It is a dance. A rhythm. A breath, in and out of focus. Close and far.
My filmmaking is often poetic, enchanting and evocative.
