Dr. Anton Demidov – ophthalmologist

Hello, my name is Anton Demidov.
I'm an ophthalmologist and surgeon with over twenty years of experience. On this channel, I explain in simple terms why vision changes, how to distinguish eye fatigue from real problems, and in which situations exercises actually help, and when they only create the illusion of improvement.

Here you'll learn how age-related changes occur after 40, what happens with nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism, why contact lenses aren't suitable for everyone, and how modern vision correction methods—laser technology and cataract surgery—differ in practice. I show you what an honest diagnosis looks like, which solutions are optimal in the long term, and what's important to consider before choosing a vision restoration method.
