Digital Natives Academy | Native Tech

Our goal is to create a biosphere, a self-sustaining system that nurtures the growth and empowerment of learners and communities through technology, education, industry, and climate action, all grounded in Mātauranga Māori.

At its core is Digital Natives Academy, our award-winning non-profit founded in 2014, where young minds are inspired and equipped with the tools to explore the digital world and respond to the challenges of climate change and artificial intelligence. DNA provides access to creative learning opportunities, fostering curiosity and innovation in a space where culture, technology, and environmental responsibility thrive together.

Building on this foundation, Native Tech serves as our educational arm, offering tailored programmes rooted in Mātauranga Māori and focused on digital, creative, and climate-related tech. Our programmes re-engage learners, particularly NEETs, with pathways into further education, industry-aligned training, climate resilience, and employment.
