DJ Thom-Thom

I started my career in 1987 on local Radio 8000. Song, opinion segment, song. Through the years I went through vinyl, CDs, MP3s before I had a life changing experience in Casa de Perros in Oaxaca City in 2011. This little indigenous Mexican girl, all dressed up in her balloon skirts and bowler hat comes carrying a 486 grey tower computer with a 14'' monitor. A keyboard and a mouse. She rocks the floor, I sit transfixed where I can watch her work, flippin YT tabs in chrome mini. Beatmixing and very other hallmark of great DJing I have learned to love through the decades. Coolest DJ ever. Underground Superstar.

"Well. that levels the playing field." I say to myself while mumbling something about "true art is created by the limitations the artist puts on himself and his work." These playlists I share with you here are mostly memory helpers for what little art I create as a DJ. But as you explore my toolboxes you might find you truly like some of the playlists just for them selves.
