Discover OP Overland Park Historical Society

The nationally recognized Overland Park Historical Society actively preserves, promotes, and brings to life our living history. We advance knowledge and inspire curiosity about all the people, places, and events that have shaped our community since the pioneer days. Our mission is to share our community’s story through research, artifacts and collections, oral histories, attractions, and preservation. We deliver creative, fun, interactive programming, both in person and virtually, connecting all generations to Overland Park’s unique history.
