Discover David's Durham

A channel where you can discover the natural and man-made wonders that Durham, and the wider area, has to offer. Let me take you on a tour of some of our natural areas (including nature reserves), to some of our events (such as Lumiere), around our landmarks and in the process open up this area to you.

As a channel started in the coronavirus lockdown, I'll start by introducing you to areas close to home, such as Aykley and Kepier Woods before taking you on tours of the wider region, and maybe beyond. I'm passionate about encouraging people to enjoy, cherish and respect their local area. My background is in both formal and informal education, including special needs and forest school, and I hope I can share my skills with you on this channel. Another of my areas of interest is photography - both still and moving images. Amongst other content I plan on using this channel to share some of my trail camera footage with you.
